13. The Old Meeting
The old Dissenting Chapel (Unitarian) erected 1710 on site of former barn at rear of White Hart Inn. Congregation moved from premises in Theatre Lane (East St.). Later rebuilding in part due to efforts of local benefactress, Miss Leigh Browne.
Where is this plaque located?
From Number Three High Street continue up through the town until you reach a small roundabout at the top of town. The Church is on the left side of the street on the corner of where the roundabout is situated. The Plaque is slightly hidden around the corner of the left hand side of the building facing out and up towards the large Radway Cinema building.
