9. St Peter's Chapel
This wall formed part of the 13thC. Peter's Chapel which belonged to Otterton Priory and is cited in a Deed of 1322. After the Dissolution it fell into disuse and became an ale house "At the Sign of the Anchor". Demolished c. 1805.
Where is this plaque located?
From The Tudor Cottage continue to the end of Chapel Street. Turn right and head down Church Street and into the Market Square. Walk through the square as if heading back to the sea front. The Plaque is located on your right slightly higher up on the side of Dukes.
