No 8 The Fort Holiday Studio is situated on the ground floor with its own entrance which opens onto a private courtyard. Steps lead to a footpath for a short walk into town.
Accommodation SLEEPS 2 DOUBLE BED
This ground floor Holiday Studio 8 is a large comfortable room (26 square
yards) attractively furnished and centrally heated, with an en suite shower room with toilet and wash hand basin.
The sitting area has two comfortable armchairs with TV & video recorder.
There is a small dining area, with fridge and cupboard where you will find all the necessary crockery, cutlery and equipment, ie kettle, toaster, egg boiler etc to provide a simple breakfast or lunch.
This is a new holiday concept and we hope that the freedom to get up and eat breakfast as and when you prefer rather than a regimented bed and breakfast arrangement will appeal.
Sidmouth in Devon has a wide variety of pubs serving food and restaurants to suit all pockets.
The Regency town of Sidmouth has a wealth of fine architecture. The town is renowned for its gardens and floral decorations frequently winning the Britain in Bloom competition. Connaught Gardens, at the western end of the seafront has spectacular views across the Esplanade and are floodlit in the evenings. The town centre shops offer a wide choice of excellent goods, coupled with its famous friendly service from the shopkeepers.
You can join walks around the town organised by the museum and learn about the local history. The spectacular World Heritage Coastline has superb walks and views. The Norman Lockyer Observatory provides entertaining demonstrations with a broad interest for enthusiasts and novices.
