The British Red Cross Medical Loan Unit is situated in Old Fore Street next door to Healthy Bitz and opposite the National Trust shop. We provide a free service for the provision of wheelchairs and commodes on a short-term basis. We also sell new wheelchairs, commodes and other disability aids. Opening times are Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, 10am to 12 noon.
