For a truly enjoyable and unforgettable experience come walking with llamas on East Devons spectacular Jurassic Coast - Englands first natural World Heritage Site. Llamas are gentle and intelligent animals and make ideal walking companions - they will even carry your refreshments and waterproofs. Peak Hill Llamas is based on a 330 acre farm just outside Sidmouth, and it is possible to do all our walks, including a section of the South West Coast Path, without leaving the farms own land. All walks have breath-taking views of the Jurassic Coast and surrounding countryside.
We are happy to be able to offer the following guided coastal walks:-

1) Morning Coffee Walk, with a selection of muffins. This walk starts at 10am and takes just over two hours, including a stop en route for elevenses.

4) Basic Walk - This walk takes around two hours, with no stops or refreshments (the llamas do not wear packs) and can be taken either in the morning starting at 10am, the afternoon starting at 3pm, or on a summer evening starting at 6 pm.
Cost: £25 per person (1 llama each)
£15 per person (1 llama/ 2 people)

Family rates are available for all walks (children under 14 must share 1 llama with an adult) Birthday parties & group visits also available.

Peak Hill Llamas is a member of South West Tourism, as well as the British Llama Society, and is fully insured. All walks are accompanied by a qualified first aider.

To take advantage of the spectacular scenery, our usual walks do involve some uphill walking - however flatter walks can be arranged if required.

Each walk must have a minimum of two llamas as they are herd animals and do not like going out on their own.

All walks are at llama pace - not particularly fast - and they do appreciate the occasional stop to admire the scenery and have a munch of their favourite hedgerow plants!

To book a walk with us, please call Maggie on 01395 578697 or e-mail info@walkingwithllamas.co.uk. We advise you to book your walk well in advance, as we do get very busy, particularly in the summer months. A 33% deposit is required to confirm a booking.
